If the season has started can I still register my child?
Yes, but it does depend on which program you were looking to join: Recreational, Tumbling or our All-Star Teams. The first two are not a problem as no previous experience is required. For our All-Star teams, you’ll have to fill out an assessment form.
Is attendance mandatory for all teams?
We understand that life happens and other commitments get in the way. This is why for each of our programs, we have a missed class policy with varying degrees of rules & strictness. We’d be happy to go over the details once you’ve decided which program you’d like to join.
Can I register over the phone or in person?
We do not do registration over the phone as we have an easy to use online system which handles everything. We encourage you to try it for yourself: www.cheercore.ca/register — if you’re still having troubles, feel free to reach out and we’d love to help you get all set up!
Do you offer JUST tumbling classes?
Absolutely! If you’re interested in only learning & mastering tumbling skills, we offer the most cutting-edge tumbling program in the country. Our classes are defined by the skills themselves to make sign up a breeze (e.g Need to learn a back-handspring? Simply join the back-handspring class!)
Do I have to pay for the whole year?
Nope! All of our all-star competitive programs can be paid in installments — however, you do save money if you pay the full amount up front. Most of our other classes (such as tumbling) are divided up into session time blocks. For example, a regular session length for a back handspring class is anywhere from 5-6 weeks.
Are parents allowed to watch practices?
Unfortunately, due to the events surrounding COVID-19 our viewing area is closed at both of our locations. Classes and practices run on a “drop-and-go” basis in order to comply with all social distancing rules and regulations.
